OUR STORY OF STRENGTH
GIANCARLO REGNI
Owner Giancarlo Regni’s pursuit of strength and conditioning began in high school, when he had the opportunity to work alongside the newly hired Strength and Conditioning Coach at the William Penn Charter School, Jeff Diritto. After this experience, Giancarlo knew this was the career path he wanted to take and what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Throughout college, he interned at Cornell University and worked at a strength and conditioning gym.
Giancarlo graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Exercise Science from Ithaca College in 2016. In August of that same year, he started G-Strength. After countless “all-nighters” driving for Lyft, he eventually built up his clientele and saved up enough money to buy equipment and pay the bills. What began as Giancarlo training clients in a studio apartment has grown into the strength and conditioning gym you’ll experience today.
Many people come to us with misunderstandings or preconceived notions of what it means to strength train. They think it means they’ll get big and bulky, or that they’ll need to do a thousand bench presses to get amazing muscle definition. We spend a lot of time educating our members to dispel these misconceptions, and to teach them what strength training is really about: nutrition, a well-rounded routine and the perseverance to stick to both of them.
Whether you’re an athlete training to perform at the highest level or a weekend warrior looking to get rid of some back pain, you’re welcome at G-Strength. We’re committed to helping you train the right way, so you can feel, look and live good!
